A soft rain was falling over a grassy meadow with wild flowers spanning over it.  Near the central part of the meadow, a small circle of grass and flowers had been crystallized over in ice with a small overhead cover in the middle of it with the ice arched up around it so no rain water dripped in. Beneath it was Frost Kaitaro, passed out  from the sudden pain and transportation she had been forced to endure.

Her eyes slowly slid open and she just laid there, unaware of where she was or what her surroundings were. All she knew was that it was raining, but she wasn’t feeling cold at all. In fact, she felt rather comfortable. She didn’t understand this as she slid her hand against the smoothed out ice below her.

Frost slowly sat up and looked up at the icy cover above her. She didn’t understand what was going on, but she was deeply fascinated by it. She realized that she should have been freezing, yet the ice actually felt fine to her. Being a little perplexed by this, Frost just continued examining her odd shelter.

She shakily got to her knees and crawled to the edge of the covering. She reached out her hand into the rain and slowly drew it back in, watching the water droplets turn into ice crystals on her hands. Frost was mystified by what she was doing unintentionally, but then ice started to creep up her arm and she started to panic.

Whimpering quietly, she watched as the ice froze up her entire arm, tensing up her body a little as a reaction. She closed her eyes, waiting for the ice to finish her off. Then, something in her mind told her to calm down and relax. She slowly opened her eyes and watched the ice recede back to her hand and melt away into her fur.

After thinking for a little bit, Frost tensed her arm up and smiled as the ice crept up her arm again. Unsure as of what had happened to her, Frost continued to play around with her newfound power, experimenting with all she could do.

By the time she was done fiddling around, her overhead cover had spanned out much farther than from where it was originally. Frost sat in the middle of her shelter and played around with a little block of ice in her hand. She got bored after a while and tossed the ice away and yawned, laying down where she was and passing out.

Frost opened her eyes and gasped, looking around the totally black area around her. She had a floating sensation, as if she wasn’t even touching any ground at all. She whimpered quietly in complete fear of the darkness around her, unsure as to what was happening.

She hugged herself tightly and closed her eyes, wishing it all away. After it seemed the silence would never end, Frost finally opened her eyes and saw a small light in the distance. She finally stopped hugging herself and took a cautious step forward and realized the floating sensation was gone.

She seemed almost in a trance as she started running towards the light. After a few seconds, Frost stopped in front of the shining light before her and reached out in wonder and softly touched it, but immediately jumped back and fell down as the light scattered apart and shot back together in the form of a shining figure.

Frost started to crawl away backwards in fear as the figure stepped towards her. She turned and tried to get up and run from whatever was following her, but the figure was right there in front of her when she stood up.

The two stood there, unmoving for what felt like forever to Frost until the figure finally stopped shining to reveal a pink hedgehog. Frost blinked a few times and rubbed her eyes, unsure of what she was seeing.

“What you see is what you get kid.”The hedgehog’s voice had a rather dark tone to it that Frost managed to point out to herself quite quickly. She wasn’t sure of what to say, do, or think of who she was talking to.

“W-Who are you..” Frost had managed to find her voice after getting over the initial fear.

“The name’s Rose, Frost. And yes, I know your name. I know quite a bit about you.” Rose crossed her arms and looked slightly down at Frost who was a little shorter than her. “You learn a lot about someone when you live in their body”

“L-Live… Inside me..?” Frost had no idea what she was talking about, but Rose simply winked and vanished into thin air. Her vision started to black out and her consciousness left her body as she drifted back into a deep sleep.
